今天的中文量词 - "拨"
拨 - bō
I always read this character as "fā", I need to get it in my head!!
拨 - is used for a group of people.
一拨儿顾客 - yì bō gùkè - a group of customers
一拨儿人 - yì bō rén - a group of people
一拨儿游客 - yì bō yóukè - a party of tourists
What I would like to know is, what is the difference between "一帮人" and " 一拨儿人". Is the first in spoken language only, and the latter a generic term for a "group" that can be used in written and spoken? If someone out there knows, please educate me!!

Generally, "一帮人" and " 一拨儿人" are the same. But considering of the "Emotional Effects". The first one is generally considered to be a 'bad' word. For example, "那一帮人又来搞破坏了！"
